Toyota 2014 Prius v-parked-trees

For the second year in a row Consumer Reports rates the Toyota Prius as the top new car value.

There are several Prius versions, and today many people are interested in the Prius Hybrid. Let’s

take a look at why the Toyota Prius Hybrid offers you tremendous value:

Superb gas mileage: 44 mpg overall, and 55 mpg on the highway

Hybrid electric features: The electric motor adds to the horse power of the gasoline motor

for a total of 134 horse power. Power the car with the gas motor, the electric motor or

a combination of both. Choose from 3 drive modes (EV battery power for up to a mile,

ECO [improves fuel efficiency] and POWER). Feel good about driving one of the lowest

emission vehicles on the road.

There are four Prius hybrid models to choose from. All have 1.8L, 4 cylinder engines.

Depending on your preferences you can compare the models to select the Prius that’s best

for you. For example if you choose the Prius Two you’ll enjoy projector beam halogen

headlights and 15 in. 5 spoke wheels in addition to a wide range of other safety and

comfort features. If you choose the Prius Five you can get advanced LED headlights,

integrated fog lights and 17 in. 5 spoke wheels along with all of the other standard Prius

features.
